My Linux experience
01-11-2026
So I recently installed Linux Mint in a old laptop, and after some days trying it, I can confidently say that the overhaul experience is pretty neat.
I love that everything runs faster because it's not bloated with random Microsoft bullshit. I can talk about customization, and the terminal, and blablabla, but you already know all that. The thing is, I'm really looking forward to install this OS on my personal computer, but I tried it first on another system so I can adapt and learn about the general enviroment. The other day I hosted a Minecraft server and I was SO happy LOL.
Of course, you can host a Minecraft server on Windows too... ( ° ^ °) BUT IT'S JUST NOT THAT FUN OK? I like to open my terminal, type some copy-paste command and feel like a computer engineer (~oh hey babe, wanna see my Minecraft server running on Linux?).
So far I have learned a bunch of useful commands, basic things about hosting (like ports and DDNSs), and I'm experimenting with some Arduino boards to automate some tasks (It turns out I had an Arduino board in my closet).
So yeah, that's everything for today. Have a nice day, and don't allow Microsoft to suck your soul ^_^
