My meds
04-18-2026
So I'm already into attention-deficit-meds one week by now I think.
The first day were pretty weird, like, I was hyperfocused on everything everytime, and my anxiety levels were unpredictable. However, it really does it job. I feel a lot more focused on math classes, and I can work in my house without too much distractions.
BTW, my new home is doing great, I already unpacked a lot of boxes, and my rooms is all clean now. I was a bit of disconnected because of that, and the fact that my fucking operative system failed on me (I HATE YOU WINDOWS 11, DON'T COME BACK), but yeah. Talking about my computer, some days ago I just cleaned my SSD and made a clean installation of Linux Mint because Windows was failing me too much and I could'nt work properly. Everything seems fine, I finally installed and configured my video editing software, and my drawing app works too so I'm happy.
The games so far are running pretty well, but I have only tested Minecraft for now.
Oh and I wanted to talk about my university, because today I was invited to a meeting about the lack of womens in STEM careers. And we were like 7-8 girls that assisted. We talked about activitys we could do for the community of young teenagers that are deciding on what career they want, specially to motivate girls into look forward for more STEM ones (STEM stands for Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics). I was really nervous because I had some imposter syndrome, y'know... transfem :( , but it came pretty well. They literally said nothing about it, and I was really happy and honored to be included on that space :') . I hope this type of activities keep going because the projects are looking really nice, and it's always good to include more womens into technical-sciences careers.
I'm also into a little project in my university, and it is that I may be doing some english tutorings classes for my classmates :D. I applied to English 1 tutoring classes since I already approved all the English subjects with the first test (at least this happens in Chile) and I'm pretty confident of my english level to do some level 1 classes. I hope they accept me, because it will be a really great opportunity for practice and learning for future classes I could do in future. So far the interview the teacher made me went pretty well. Of course, I still have more things to learn, and I'm planning to assits as a listener to some advance-level classes, because I really like practicing the lenguage, specially the speaking part.
So yeah, that's all by now, I hope all this silly things go silly great. Now I'm gonna finish that damn video I'm editing since March because the Universe don't want me to work on my hobbies.
Bye bye! ^_^
