Tart

The other day I was bored in class, so I searched recipes on internet just for fun. That's when I found a recipe for making pastry cream/custard and realized it was very easy to make and I had almost everything at home :D (context: I L O V E pastry cream). And well, the thing is that last Friday I started making it; the only ingredient I was missing was vanilla essence (because it's very expensive) but I solved it by adding cinnamon and tangerine peels to the milk while it was heating up (it turned out very tasty). Now, as you will notice, this blog post is called "tart" and not "pastry cream". It turns out that when I finished the pastry cream I really didn't know what to do with it (I didn't want to eat it just like that because it was so good), so I went looking for options and found a pretty easy tart crust.

To make a long story short, I made this tart with pastry cream, and some caramelized apple and nectarine slices [Image below (o v o)]. I tried it with my family during tea time and it turned out really good, at least for my first time :D.

La otra vez estaba en clase de programación cuando me aburrí y empecé a buscar recetas porque sí. Fue ahí cuando encontré una receta para hacer crema pastelera y me dí cuenta de que era muy fácil de hacer y tenía casi todo en mi casa :D (contexto: A M O la crema pastelera). Y bueno la cosa es que el viernes pasado me puse a hacerla; el único ingrediente que me faltó fue la esencia de vainilla (porque está muy cara) pero lo resolví echandole canela y cáscaras de mandarina a la leche mientras se calentaba (quedó muy rica). Ahora como notarán, esta entrada de blog se llama "tarta" y no "crema pastelera". Resulta que cuando terminé la crema pastelera realmente no sabía que hacer con ella (no quería comermela así solita porque quedó muy buena), así que fuí buscando opciones y encontré una masa para tartas muy facilita.

Para hacer la historia corta, hice esta tarta con la crema pastelera, y unas lonjitas de manzana y nectarín acaramelizados [Imágen hasta abajo (o v o)]. La probé con mi familia durante la once y la verdad es que quedó muy buena, al menos para ser mi primera vez jeje.
