~Micro Stories~

Sometimes I enjoy writting short stories, dramatic and hideous stories... Hope you like these!

The Silent City

I don't remember well when I wrote this lol. It is about a dystopian city called "San Liso" where its inhabitants have fallen under the control of a hyper-capitalist government due to the lack of popular demonstration (WARNING: Any resemblance to reality is completely on purpose).

Deja Vu

A 100-word micro story I did for an academic project. It doesn't have a very deep meaning behind it, but I must admit that to do so I took inspiration from the concept of "liminal spaces" that was exploding in popularity at the time. When I read this story, I imagine the protagonist in a setting like this. In fact, at some point in the story I wanted to talk about the door to the void, but I didn't have enough word count.

The Last Hope

Following the concept of Utopias/Dystopias, "The Last Hope" is a micro story about the last surviving specimen of the human race. And how he faces his destiny in a way that... well, you better see for yourself.

The Fetus (Warning for Gore)

A visceral micro story about the discovery of transgender identity. It is designed to scratch and write on top of it. I wrote this micro story as a relief, and sometimes I read it again when I feel sad. I think of all the ones I've written, this is my favorite text and I'm proud of the final result.

Rot (Warning for Gore)

After writing "The Fetus" I wanted to test my skills in writing horror stories. And I think I managed to create a pretty grotesque and transgressive story here. But even though I'm happy with the result, I can't help but feel a little uncomfortable every time I read it again. Although I guess that's good, right? I mean, it's a grotesque horror story, the point is to make you feel uncomfortable xd. Anyway, be careful when reading it.
